A styled wedding shoot set at The Hundred House in Norton.
When life gives you lemons make lemonade, that’s what they say, right?
When Covid came and took with it many wedding bookings, we had time on our hands! So, when Nicola Gough Photography approached us to help create a styled wedding at a local wedding venue, we jumped at the chance.
Like any real life wedding, if you choose the right suppliers for you, the wedding takes care of itself. Nicola had handpick some wedding industry favourites to help deliver this shoot. The chosen venue was The Hundred House Hotel which is a stones throw from our shop, which was great not just for the location but because the team their are fantastic!
The brief was for an Autumnal feel and we were keen to include some on-trend flowers, but with a quirky, bohemian twist. Right on cue, we turned to Pampus grass and Palm Spears! These dried flowers have experienced quite a resurgence in popularity. Mix these textures and shapes with fresh flowers and foliage like Continus, Sedum, Eustoma, Shrub Roses, Soft Ruscus and Leather Leaf, then you have quite the recipe for a stunningly different bridal bouquet!
Nicola orchestrated an excellent event where we marvelled at the Bridal gowns (Yes! There’s more than one bespoke gown), cooed over the stationary and, quite honestly, found it hard not to just eat the wedding cake!
