See the beautiful Shropshire wedding of Louise and Neil at The Mill Barns in Alveley.
As you might imagine, most of our weekends as florists are filled with gorgeous weddings and sometimes it’s hard to take a moment to reflect on their beauty. Some of our Brides and Groom’s are kind enough to share the images of their special day with us which is always an honour. It gives us insight into how their ideas and vision all came together on the day. This is one of those instances!
Firstly, what a lovely couple Louise and Neil are! They had a lovely family too! Mostly we liaised with Louise by email, which is not unusual in today’s modern age: it’s a quick and easy way to instantly share images and ideas! Our Bride, Louise (and we’re sure the Groom did too!), wanted to achieve a natural look mixing greens and white with blush pink threaded through the flowers.
The Bridal bouquet brief was whimsical and blowsy, displaying an abundance of foliage (think Eucalyptus, Parvifolia and Soft Ruscus) with flowers such as white Eustoma, Ranon, and Roses. Louise had fallen in love with the blush pink Kiera Rose from David Austin Roses, so we made sure they were a key feature of her showstopping bouquet. The Bridesmaid posies were smaller versions of the Brides bouquet omitting the pale pink accent, and all bouquets were finished with trailing ribbon detail.
The buttonholes complimented the bridal flower by displaying layered blooms and foliage mirroring the bouquet flowers.
