This awesome wedding takes us to the blank canvas wedding venue of Pimhill Barn in Shrewsbury. Catherine and Lukes’s bohemian wedding day there was edgy, cool and just really gorgeous!
Catherine and Luke are a very likable couple; they had bundles of personality and ideas that we knew would make their big day stand out for all the right reasons.
We love Pimhill Barn because weddings there are always really relaxed and, as it’s a DIY venue, they’re all completely different – and this wedding was no exception! The checklist of gorgeousness begins with Catherine’s wedding dress (could we borrow this please?), the Macramé hanging backdrop which we dressed with flowers (hired from creator and event stylist The Fronissa Décor), the leather settee and Persian rug on the front lawn, foliage planks and hoops suspended from the ceiling of the barn, milk churns filled with heaps of flowers, oh, and pink colour cannons that made for stunning photographs!
We suggested using lots of seasonal flowers and foliage, such as Eryngiums, white Veronica, Astrantia and Waxflower, to achieve the boho wildflower vibe that they wanted to create.
