Refund & Return Policy

How can I make a return to you?

If you wish to return an item, with the exception of personalised and commissioned products, we need to receive it back into our Head Office within twenty one days of receipt for a refund or an exchange. This is after you have informed us within seven working days after the day on which you receive the products, of your intention to return an order. This must be done via telephone and then confirmed by email to hello@biglittlethings.co.uk.  Please retain all packaging until you are sure you wish to keep your items. Should you wish to return an item to us please repack it with care using all the original packaging or a suitable alternative. As the goods are your responsibility until they reach us please ensure you package your return to prevent any damage to the items or boxes. This does not affect your statutory rights.

With the exception of faulty and damaged goods we are not responsible for the return postage and do advise that you obtain a valid proof of postage in case the parcel fails to reach us.

If an item is returned to us outside of the twenty one day time frame or is in a non re saleable condition we are unable to issue a refund or exchange.

If you wish to cancel your whole order and return it to us, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you must let us know within seven working days of receiving your parcel. This can be done by contacting us via telephone, then confirming by email at hello@biglittlethings.co.uk. You will then need to return the whole order to us, at your own expense. Once we receive the whole order back we will issue a refund for the items. Please note this does not apply to the personalised or commissioned items which cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.

Returns can take up to thirty days to be processed, especially during busy periods.

Please note refunds for items bought as gifts can only be refunded to the original purchaser and if you decide to swap or exchange an item we cannot stop the original purchaser from knowing.

This applies to all of our products except for earrings and personalised or commissioned items. Please note that, in compliance with the UK’s Health & Hygiene regulations, we cannot accept the return of earrings unless they were originally faulty. Otherwise, we can accept returns of complete product, which are unused, untainted by hairspray or perfume and in an "as new" condition. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse a claim for a return if we believe that a customer is taking advantage of this returns policy.

When returning jewellery please ensure that you include the original gift packaging and packing slip, that the items are suitably protected against damage in transit and that you use a suitable recorded and insured delivery service. Items must be received by us within seven working days after the day of the date that the item was delivered to you.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Once you have contacted us, please ensure that you include a copy of the delivery note, as well as obtain a proof of posting. We cannot be responsible for parcels that fail to reach us.

Refunds

The item needs to be received back within twenty one days from the day the parcel was delivered. This is after you have informed us within seven working days after the day on which you receive the products, of your intention to return an order. Please note that refunds for items bought as gifts can only be issued to the original purchaser. If you decide to exchange an items or items we cannot stop the original purchaser from knowing.

Exchanges

If an item is returned to us outside of the twenty one day time frame or is in a non re saleable condition we are unable to issue a refund or exchange.

If you wish to return an item for an exchange, and the original item is not damaged or faulty you will be responsible for the return postage. Please state on the packing slip which item(s) your are returning and what you would like to receive in exchange. This is after you have informed us within seven working days after the day on which you receive the products, of your intention to exchange an order. This must be done via telephone and then confirmed by email to hello@biglittlethings.co.uk

If the exchanged item is of a lower value then a refund will be issued for the difference, providing the return is made within the twenty one day returns period. If the exchanged item is of a higher value then a member of our Customer Service Team will be in touch to take the additional payment required.
